At The College Lawn we cater for functions of between 30 and 150 people. Birthdays, engagements, whatever the occasion we will cater to your every wish. The staff are very willing to make sure your function is a memorable and successful event

Below are our menu options to suit every type of function

Room Hire

Your booking will be held tentatively for 2 weeks from the time of enquiry, in which time the booking fee of $250 must be paid or your booking will be released. The booking fee is non-refundable unless we are able to rebook the room. Room hire can be paid in cash, by cheque (made out to The College Lawn Hotel) or by credit card (All major cards accepted.)

Closing Times

The function room bar closes & music shuts down at 12.00am Thursday to Saturday & at 11.00pm Sunday to Wednesday. Patrons are required to be off premises half an hour after the bar closes. Please note that we are in a residential area & request that you and your guests vacate the venue quietly in respect of our neighbours. Our Staff will gladly organize taxis as required prior to close. Day time functions are for a maximum of 6 hours.

Decorating

You are welcome to decorate the Vinyl Lounge for your function, however we ask that no tape or Bluetac be placed on the paint finished walls.

Music

We have a Juke box in the Vinyl Lounge as well as MP3 capabilities, where you can bring in your MP3 player or Laptop and connect it through our system. Alternatively we have a 6 stacker CD player which is left on random. You may bring your own CDs in or we can play music from our selection. You may arrange for a DJ to play at your function as long as they use our amps as volume levels are controlled by us. We do not allow bands. We also have DVD capabilities & a big screen TV.

Other Entertainment

We have a pool table and a Buck Hunter game in the Vinyl Lounge both of which can be covered if requested but cannot be removed from the room.

The Courtyard

When you book the Vinyl Lounge you also get use of our back courtyard. This is a designated smoking area.

Catering

Numbers for catering and choices of menu must be finalised at least one week prior to your function. The function coordinators are available for recommendations on how many people you should cater for. You may bring in a cake, which we will happily store for you.

Numbers

The Vinyl Lounge can cater for up to 60 people for a sit down dinner and up to 150 for a standing function.

There are many options in regards to drink tabs, please feel free to speak to the function coordinator about limits & combinations.
